There are many people who make Xavier a great campus. The maintenance crew is a huge part of this. These people work countless hours to make Xavier’s campus beautiful for the faculty, staff, students and visitors.

Most recently, the maintenance staff helped to put up the Christmas decorations around campus. Stringing lights, decorating Christmas trees and hanging ornaments were some of the many touches that the maintenance staff completed to make campus look so festive.

The maintenance staff also helped set up for the lights out rally. Their dedication made the event look seamless and spooky, just in time for Halloween.

The staff described Xavier’s environment as enjoyable. They all love working with one another. Kitchen Manager James Beech said, “It’s pretty relaxed and everyone is really helpful.”

The Xavier maintenance staff puts in so much work that students and faculty often take them for granted. The acknowledgment from the Xavier community is truly appreciated for their work.

Founder’s Hall Manager Angel Delgado said, “I do anything from work orders to all the events at Xavier. We take care of the tables, chairs, I talk to the caters and then I have three people who work for me, so we work together to get it done.”

The maintenance crew at Xavier does a lot to make our school beautiful and enjoyable every day.
