Charley Fisher, News Editor

Charley Fisher is a junior at Xavier College Preparatory who enjoys volunteering her time with Xavier Young Vincentians and helping out with Pierian Spring, Xavier's art magazine. She participates in hot yoga with her mother and does track and field during the school year. Charley is excited to continue her journey with XPress and to learn about the community around her through journalism. Charley is a Best of SNO award-winning writer. The Arizona Interscholastic Press Association (AIPA) awarded her an "Excellent" mark for sports writing in 2023.

Emily Carrillo, senior at Xavier College Preparatory, received the Arizona Honorable Mention from National Center for Women & Information Technology at Paradise Valley High School. Zoë Levitt, NCWIT Aspirations Regional Affiliate Manager, presented Carrillo the award.
