Mass crowds at a Chance The Rapper concert

Whether it be alternative, pop, or country, Phoenix is getting ready for concert season and its upcoming shows feature all of the genres.

September:

In September, the band Imagine Dragons is making their way to Talking Stick Resort Arena along with K. Flay and Grouplove on the 26th. If you are looking for some throwbacks, U2 will be joining Beck at the University of Phoenix Stadium on Sept. 19. At Pub Rock in Scottsdale, come down Friday, Sep. 22 for Brockhampton. For some slower indie jams, check out Beach House and Fleet Foxes on Sep. 24, at Comerica Theatre.

October:

In the first week of October, Mac Demarco and The Flaming Lips are coming down to Comerica Theatre on Thursday, Oct. 5. Within the same weekend, Post Malone will be performing at the Marquee Theater on Saturday, the 7. At the Van Buren, alternative band Portugal the Man will be live on the 12th. For some classic hits, go see the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the 18th at Gila River Arena. If alternative and rock are not your style, enjoy the country tunes of Luke Bryan and Brett Eldredge at Ak-Chin Pavilion on the 26th.

November:

Grab some friends and get excited for Jay-Z on Nov. 3, at Talking Stick Arena. If you are in the mood for something a little funkier, go watch Bruno Mars jam out at Talking Stick Area as well on Nov. 5.

Festivals:

During the weekend of Oct. 20-22 ,the Lost Lake Festival is debuting at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. On Friday, get ready for stunning performances by Chance the Rapper, HAIM, the Pixies and Ludacris among others. The Killers, The Roots, Lil Yachty and the Kongos will take the stage on Saturday. And on Sunday, Major Lazer, Odesza and Run the Jewels will be lining up.  Accompanied by food trucks and a variety of vendors, there will be loads to eat and to enjoy at this event.
