Xavier Christmas Market
In this holiday season, there are so many outstanding events and activities going on at Xavier. An annual tradition for the past three years, the Xavier Christmas Market, will be happening on Friday, Dec. 15, after school dismissal.
This event is organized by Ms. Frances McMahon Ward and gives students a chance to share the holiday spirit around campus. Students are able to sell a variety of things ranging from baked goods to jewelry. This year items such as blankets, cards, jewelry and of course, the largest collection of baked goods are all expected. The festivities will be held in Robson Plaza directly following dismissal on Friday. Many students as well as teachers are preparing for this day.
Two students share their excitement about the upcoming market. Senior Mary Long said, “I am baking cookies for the Christmas Market. I think it’s so cool that Xavier is allowing students to earn their own money through this event.” Senior Ashten Wheeler said, “This year I will be selling necklaces and bracelets at the Market. It is so awesome to see all the creative ideas of students and staff here at Xavier.”
Students, staff and faculty will have so many great gift options for all. Christmas music and holiday cheer will be radiating throughout Xavier.
The Christmas Market is a great way for students to interact with their peers while getting into the holiday spirit. This is the only event held on Xavier’s campus where students are able to keep the profits from their sales.
Come and join us at the fourth annual Christmas Market on Dec. 15 at Xavier College Prep to ignite your holiday spirit.
