Greetings and salutations. Bienvenue. Ni Hao. Hola. Gutentag. Welcome. I did not check any of those to see if they were correct so it is very likely that at least one of them is wrong. They did fill up a lot of space though. If you’re ever lacking words in an essay, putting in similar words in a different language is a fantastic way to meet your word quota. Wow! Just a few lines in and we are already learning! Isn’t the internet magical?

As you have probably noticed, this is the introduction to this blog, so I’ll begin by introducing myself. I’m Taylor Lawritson and I’m a junior. This is the first blog I’ve ever written so please be patient with me while I try to get my bearings. Throughout the year I’ll be posting different articles on this blog, from opinion pieces to advice about how to get the absolute most out of your school endeavors. If there is anything specifically you would like me to cover, please feel free to email me at [email protected].

Why am I qualified to be writing this blog? I’m glad you asked! I can be described as the type of person who acts first and thinks later, a trait that has lead to a plethora of uncomfortable situations. Because of this excessive knowledge of undesirable, self-inflicted circumstances, I’m just the person to help you avoid any unnecessary mishaps of this kind.

I promise that over the course of this year I will do my best to keep this blog both interesting and informative. If you feel I am doing a terrible job, please tell me! I am open to any and all criticisms you may have.

I think that about wraps up my first blog post! We at Taylor’s Tips for Surviving the School Year (aka, me… Taylor) know you have many different blog choices to choose from, so thank you for choosing this one! Au revoir. Zai juan. Adios. Auf Wiedersehen. Farewell. Have a super week and thanks for reading!
