These past four years have been full of challenges that have formed me into the person I am today, someone ready to go out and create change in this world. Each essay written, every hour I spent studying, and every assignment submitted on canvas represents a challenge that I overcame. These obstacles have developed my personality and made me a stronger individual as I leave for college.
I am extremely grateful to have been a part of this school community populated by students constantly motivating, supporting, and loving each other. Over these past four years, this sisterhood of the Xavier students has challenged and inspired me to be a better person, always be myself, and never let anyone or anything stand in the way of achieving my goals. The friendships that I have made are those that will last a lifetime. Throughout the rest of my life, I know I will always have my Xavier sisters to lean on. Thank you Xavier for pushing me, inspiring me, challenging me and nurturing me. I know Xavier has fully prepared me to conquer this next chapter of life.
Lastly, I am so thankful that I decided to become a writer for the XPress. It has been an incredible opportunity to be able to unite and inform the Xavier community through my monthly articles. Students’ voices are heard in many different ways throughout high school, and as an XPress writer, my voice was heard through the school newspaper. I encourage every underclassman to accept the lessons that Xavier teaches you throughout your four years and find your own way to make your voice heard.
