XPress is the award-winning student online newspaper of Xavier College Preparatory. Xavier has approximately 1,200 students, 200 faculty and staff members, and many alumnae and friends of the school who read the school’s news.

The editors and staff of XPress are dedicated student journalists who are passionate about sharing the current events and everyday stories of their community.

XPress is a member of the Journalism Education Association, the National Scholastic Press Association, the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association, and Quill & Scroll (since 1959).

XPress received a “First Class rating” by the National Scholastic Press Association in 2021, a “First Place Award” by the American Scholastic Press Association in 2022, a “Distinguished Site” award by SNO (School Newspapers Online) in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and “Second Place” for Online Newspaper Excellence in the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association’s state high school journalism awards for 2023.

Any and all work published in XPress is the property of the Xavier College Prep (XCP) administration. The removal or edits of any past or present work is determined by the XCP administration. No material may be used without the consent of the adviser or administration.
