Celine Salloum is a freshman at Xavier College Preparatory. She is involved in several programs at Xavier, including Great Books, Student Ambassadors, Key Club, and Frosh Tennis. She practices figure skating, takes violin lessons, and volunteers as an altar server and lector at church Masses in her free time. Celine enjoys writing because she can express herself in her journalism and photography through the lives and stories of others, while learning more about the unique community she is surrounded by. Celine was nominated among twelve students in the country for the National Catholic Education Award of 2024, earned the Christian Service Award and scholarship in 2024, and won second place at the 2024 National Academic Decathlon in the Literature specialty.
