Q&A: Dina Gorman

Q: What do you think has positively shaped your experience at Xavier?

A: Having a supporting friend group allowed me to have such an amazing experience at Xavier. They made football games, school dances, and rallies so much fun, and I am so thankful for all the memories I have gotten to make with them at Xavier.

Q: Who would you like to thank from over the course of your time in high school? Maybe a teacher who mentored you? A friend who has been there for you?

A: I would like to thank my teammates on the beach volleyball team for being so supportive and allowing me to have 3 memorable seasons playing for Xavier. Some of my favorite memories at Xavier have been winning the state championship my sophomore year and creating friendships with upper and lower classmen.

Q: What is something you’ve learned at Xavier that you want to take with you in college? (a habit, a mentality, a skill, etc.)

A: The main thing that I learned at Xavier, which I am going to take with me to college, is knowing how to manage my time. Being a student-athlete at Xavier I instantly had to learn time management, and it is a skill that I will most definitely use the next four years in college and beyond.
