Apple’s new iPhone 8 and iPhone X

Apple generally releases their new Apple products in early Fall. This year, Sept. 12, 2017 marked the day that Apple had their reveal party where they showed the new iPhone X and the iPhone 8. The iPhone X is the “tenth anniversary phone” and has not hit the stores yet, but will on Nov. 3 for $999.
So the real question… who is willing to spend $999 on a phone? Well, a lot of people are, including the thousands of people who have already preordered the iPhone X and the millions who have already bought the iPhone 8 which hit the stores on Sept. 22.
What is so special about the iPhone X and the iPhone 8? Let’s start with the newer, more expensive of the two. The iPhone X is also known as the iPhone 10 and has some insane features. Some of these features include a edge-to-edge screen, face ID, wireless charging, dual optical image stabilization, portrait mode and portrait lighting, true depth camera and Animoji (animated emoji of your face).
Some things about this new phone may seem too good to be true, but this is not the case. The way to unlock your phone is through your face and there are even animated emojis you can send…because everyone knows some emojis don’t get your feelings across in the text. This new iPhone X is the future of phones. The amount of additional features in this phone is insane. The iPhone X only comes in two colors, as of now: space gray and silver.
There is some good news, if you don’t want to spend $999 on the iPhone X, Apple decided to come out with a semi-cheaper option: the iPhone 8. The iPhone 8 is just as new and just as technology-oriented as the iPhone X, just with fewer features. The few things the iPhone 8 doesn’t include are the Animojis, facial recognition and the full screen view. Even though the phones have different names, they are almost the same with the great camera Apple invented and the new IOS 11 features.
The iPhone 8, in my opinion, is something that is more reasonably priced, at $799, and overall a better decision for those wanting to buy the new phone. The iPhone 8 comes in three different colors, space gray, silver and gold. The iPhone 8 has already come out and hit the stores. I would recommend looking at your carrier to see the best deal you can get instead of paying the full price.
