  1. Carrie

We all know high school can be tough. Balancing grades, extracurriculars, and a social life is almost unimaginable. In addition,  young Carrie White has witchcraft thrown into the mix. The bullies of the school are constantly targeting her due to her shy and awkward demeanor. One earth-shattering night, a prank was taken too far and pushed her off the edge. Showcasing her skills to the whole student body, she lashed out, and her vengeance was unerasable

  1.  The Shining

This movie is considered one of the greatest horror films ever made. Not because of blood and gore, but rather its spin on “teeth-chattering” films of the modern day. It opens with Jack Torrance interviewing for a caretaker job at the Overlook Hotel. The manager hires him but warns that Jack and his family (who would be joining him) will be snowbound for the winter and most likely catch “cabin fever”: something that has previously caused murders in the hotel. Despite all the red flags presented to Jack, he decides to take the job. As the movie progresses, Jack experiences disturbing visions and discovers the dark secrets of the hotel.

  1. Silence of the Lambs

Clarice Starling, the top student in her FBI Training class, is chosen to work in the FBI Behavioral Science Unit in Virginia. She is put on the case of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant minded, but horrifically violent physiatrist currently serving life in prison. Watch as Clarice tackles this jaw wrenching case and possibly unravels the dark secrets of his mind.

  1. Nightmare on Elm Street

Imagine if you had nightmares so bad you were scared to shut your eyes ever again. Then, imagine if when discussing these dreams with friends they admit they are encountering the same dreams every night. Well, that is what teenager Nancy and her friends experience. Images of the same man, Freddy Kruger, are haunting all of their dreams. They realize that once the dreams get too bad, they can just wake up and it will all be fine… until one friend in their group never wakes up, and they realize the nightmares aren’t just dreams… they are reality.

  1. Friday the 13th.

The superstitious day of Friday the 13th was originated by the novel Friday the 13th, written by Simone Hawk, which was later turned into the thrilling movie millions of people cherish. For years, this day has haunted the lives of so many because of the events that occurred in the movie. A group of teenagers attend camp on the shores of the beautiful Crystal Lake. Their times of fun and memories are shattered when they find they are being stalked by a serial killer. Lets just say, it doesn’t end up well for any of them and the lake, famous for murders, adds more names to the kill list that summer.
