Phoenix held its first Asian night market on April 21 to 22, 2018. The informational event offered asian-influenced food, performances and games. From waiting for an hour to get into the festival to eating delicious barbeque and boba drinks, the market had many anime and manga merch for fans and activities that provided enjoyment for all. From seeing live graffiti performances to an open arcade, the Phoenix community was able to come together to explore the Asian culture and share in the Asian experience. Festival goers rallied together to have a night full of culture that ranged from hot cheetos sushi burritos to soup dumplings, pork buns and ramen. Surprised at the large turnout, Phoenix will most definitely hold another night market in the nearby future.
