Unfortunately, we cannot all borrow the Gator mascot for our Halloween costume, because that would be awesome. Instead, here are some creative, yet quick and simple Halloween costume ideas.

Idea one: a simple cowgirl costume.

Dressing up as a cowgirl can be much easier than you may think. Everyone has a piece of denim clothing, such as a denim skirt, jacket, pants or shorts, hiding somewhere in their closet. Find the old denim skirt hiding in the back of your closet and pair it with a flannel (or red shirt), bandana and a pair of boots. If you do not already have these items in your possession one of your friends is sure to let you borrow theirs. Have you already been a cowgirl and want to take things to the next level? Dress as a space cowgirl!  Never heard of it? Neither have I, but that is the fun, creative part of Halloween. To be a space cowgirl, find a piece of clothing that is brightly colored or metallic. Pair it with boots and maybe a light-up cowgirl hat. I promise you will be the only space cowgirl on Halloween!

Idea two: the iconic, go-to animal costume.

Dressing up as an animal is always a safe and cute go-to costume. Everyone is bound to have a piece of animal print in their closet. Just pair that item with another piece of other black or corresponding-colored clothing and tennis shoes. To spice this up a little, add one or more hair accessories (like cat ears or cheetah print scrunchy), or use face paint for whiskers on your face.

Idea three: your favorite Disney Princess.

Dressing up as your favorite Disney Princess can be so simple and elegant. All you need is a colored dress from your closet and a tiara, which I am sure a sibling or friend would lend you. You can make this costume more exciting by wearing body glitter or fun makeup and adding prop that corresponds to your princess.

Hopefully, these costume tips inspire creative ideas for your Halloween costume!
