Xavier College Preparatory senior Destiny De La O will be attending the University of Arizona to major in psychology, as she hopes to get a career in neuropsychology and potentially psychopharmacology to help those with abnormalities in their brains. Because theater helps give purpose and characters to stories much like how psychology focuses on understanding the behavior of others, Destiny has taken the opportunities to play her dream roles of Amaryllis in “The Music Man” her sophomore year and of Kurt Von Trapp in her dream show, “The Sound of Music,” her senior year.

Hey my name is Jennifer Eliosa and some of my favorite activities here at Xavier were having lunch with my friends and laughing. Another really fun activity that I enjoyed most was Spanish Club. As one of the officers, it was truly an incredible experience. I thank Xavier and the alumnae for their generosity. I’m proud of leaving with great fun and memories about this place. Thank you.

My friends have helped make my high school experience amazing! I will miss Ms. Richter in both Mock Trial and in English class! I will also miss anatomy with Dr. King! – MaggieMae (Maggie) Dethlefsen

Even more so, I’m gonna miss eating my egg sammy with my EXEC4L FAM (exec for life family) and doing the wordle together. Lastly I will miss ANYSSA SANCHEZ and LULU fighting for our picnic table with their whole hearts. Much love. – Katherine (Kate) Fleury

I think something important throughout my four years at Xavier is friends. Throughout the years friends would come and would go, I’ve learned that it was okay to accept that it’s possible for people to drift away. You can make lifelong friends that stay in your life and at times there will be some that do leave. I’ve learned that it takes time for the right group of people to come into your life. As I leave this school I am proud to say that I made friends – Alexis Galvez

Thank you to Xavier cross country for bringing me to the weirdest and funniest people I know. Olivia, Naomi, Reese, I love you guys and am so grateful for the laughs that you filled my last 2 years at Xavier with. Olivia, thank you for being there for me and growing with me over this past year;–it was worth it…and remember..this is your year! Van, you never fail to surprise me-thanks for always keeping me on my toes. I hope no one ever falls in a pothole again. – Macarthy Mahoney

To my friends Kendall, Lila, Maggie, and Ansley, thank you for always being there. I literally couldn’t be more grateful for you. – Kate Brink

I am leaving Xavier with friendships that will last a lifetime. Ms. Vining has given me the opportunities to play my dream role of Amaryllis in The Music Man my sophomore year and to be Kurt Von Trapp in my dream show, The Sound of Music, my senior year. As I took my final bow on the stage this March, I felt humbled and beyond blessed to have such a beautiful ending to this chapter of my life. – Destiny De La O

I regret taking honors geometry my freshman year but I will definitely miss the Xavier Pizza. peace out – Mina Clary

I want to say thank you for such an amazing 4year experience. Throughout my time here at Xavier I didn’t know if it would be possible for me to acclimate to such a large school after attending a small school of only 45 students (7th and 8th graders combined). I want to thank my parents for supporting me and allowing me to attend this school and all the scholarship foundations I applied to for supporting my financial tuition and being able to attend this school; I want to thank the Xavier swim team for all the incredible efforts, cheering, and memories (good and the bad); I want to thank all my teachers for the guidance and wisdom they bestowed upon me these 4 years; I want to thank the maintenance, staff, and attendance ladies for keeping the campus on track and clean; and I want to thank all my friends for supporting me these years and making some of the best memories I will forever remember! – Daisy Maldonado

I love all the seniors even though I don’t know most of you but I wish we could’ve met and talked to each other more! Stay safe and good luck in university! – Jennifer (Jenny) Eliosa Ixehuatl
