On April 9, Xavier College Preparatory showcased student artwork from the school year 2024-2025 in an event known as Art Feast.
Art Feast has been a Xavier tradition for many years. The event has been held in Xavier’s art gallery, known as Stark Gallery.
At Art Feast, all types of art is exhibited. The gallery itself has the walls filled with different student paintings, drawings and photographs.
Catherine Robbins, Xavier drawing and painting teacher, said, “A part of the gallery includes Beginning Drawing and Intro to Art students. They did some acrylic paintings of abstract designs on canvas and landscapes where they replaced details with different designs and textures as an exploration of working with lines.”

Students who take part in National Art Society decided which pieces of their art were to be displayed at Art Feast.
Not only was visual art showcased, but art for the ears was playing as visitors walked around the gallery.

Olivia Garcia, president of the Classical Music Club, and Claire Lueken, vice president, explained how Art Feast is an excellent way to demonstrate the music that they have worked on this past year.
Art Feast was an excellent opportunity for students’ hard work this past year to be demonstrated and seen by their peers in the Xavier community.
