Burger Theory

This week’s restaurant review is…burgers… The wonderful satisfaction of biting into that juicy, cooked, flavorful burger. We all have the same Thursday routine, when you start planning your weekend, fantasizing about what you’re going to do, but first, FOOD. Well this is where the review helps, not knowing where you want to go on a Friday? Or even after a sports game for a late-night snack? Quick and easy meal? Well here are some great places to satisfy those cravings.

First burger spot, Delux, located on 32nd and Camelback, just the place for a late-night snack. Open until 2AM, and happy hour from 4PM-7PM (Monday – Friday), I mean what else do you need other than cheap burgers? Guess what, not only does Delux have great burgers, but they also have sushi. Delux’s burgers and burger menu include large burgers and also some sliders, which are two smaller burgers. Delux has a great appetizer menu, filled with delicious appetizers to start you off before your meal. The service is great and the burgers are great and it’s all around a cool spot to go to.

The second place I went to, I would recommend for a quick bite to eat, with great service and a cute spot with lots of TVs, it is great for a football sunday. Burger Theory, located off of 44th and Mcdowell. Burger Theory has great appetizers, especially their chicken tenders dipped in the yummy barbecue and ranch sauce. Just like Delux, Burger Theory does not only sell Burgers, but they have a bigger selection including pizza, salads, ribs, hotdogs and sandwiches. The burgers are delicious with great sides, especially the fries with the seasoning and the KGB (Killer Great Burger) Sauce which was amazing. Then to top it off, Burger Theory had the best and cutest desserts consisting of a S’mores Dessert, and then the amazing Brownie Dessert, which was served in a Mason jar with brownie and fudge on the bottom, with ice cream and whipped cream on top.

The last stop was “The Attic,” which is located off of Indian School and 44th Street. The Attic is a “hidden treasure,” as some would say, situated on the second floor, above Saks Sandwich shop. The Attic is a smaller space, with great service, super friendly people and an amazing view of Camelback Mountain. The restaurant allows the customers to watch the sunset or storms rolling in and enjoy a great happy hour 7 days a week, 4:30PM-6PM Tuesday through Friday and 11AM to 6:30PM Saturday and Sunday. Appetizers from the Attic are also amazing, especially the pretzel with cheese and a flavorful filled mustard and the Caprese. The Attic has a large choice of burgers and “bar” food, making the decision of what you are going to order very difficult. The majority of the burgers are served on a pretzel bun, with a juicy burger and any type of topping of your choice. The fries from The Attic were outstanding, filled with so much seasoning and delicious overall. The service was great and everyone in the rooftop restaurant was so nice. It is a great spot to go and watch sports games with your families or friends on a weekday or weekend.

Overall, the Attic had the best burgers out of the three restaurants. All three venues had a great happy hour menu, great service and, of course, great burgers. Check again next week for another restaurant review on Tacos and where to find the best unique Mexican food for your week/weekend.
