Hiking the Arizonan trails is one of the fun activities to do during spring.

With spring comes the most beautiful temperatures Arizona has to offer. That being said, there are plenty of opportunities to get outside and promote a healthier lifestyle by doing so.

If you’re a baseball fan, spring training games are currently being played. With so many stadiums just miles from downtown Phoenix, attending a spring training game has never been easier. Arizona is a very popular spring training destination, with The Los Angeles Angels practicing at the Tempe Diablo Stadium and the Arizona Diamondbacks playing at the Salt River Fields in Scottsdale. What could be better than sitting down to watch America’s greatest pastime in beautiful temperatures?

Another activity is hiking, a classic Arizona outdoor interest. The spring weather makes it all the more enjoyable, as you’re getting a workout in without being too hot or cold in the process. My personal favorites are Pinnacle Peak, the 32nd Street Trail, and Camelback.

On the weekend, farmers markets are a perfect place to go to with friends and family. My favorite is Vincent’s on 40th and Camelback, but another popular one is Uptown Farmer’s Market on Central and Bethany Home. At these markets, there are plenty of fresh produce, homemade bath products, and unique gifts to get your loved ones.

Yoga is another great activity during springtime. Yoga on the Lawn is offered at the Biltmore Fashion Park every Sunday morning by Lululemon. It’s a nice way to unwind from the stress of school by relaxing and strengthening your muscles.

Movies on the Lawn is yet another fun activity offered at the Biltmore Fashion Park. Movies are screened on the lawn outside of Saks every Friday night. The theme for movies being shown during March is baseball, which fits perfectly with spring training time. On March 10, Angels in the Outfield is playing and, on March 17, A League of Their Own is available for viewing.
Arizona is a great place to be during spring, as there is a lot of exciting activities to keep you healthy and enjoy the cool weather before the harsh heat of summer rolls in.
