Ellie Hilsabeck, Sports Editor

Eleanor Hilsabeck is a senior at Xavier. This is her first year on the editorial staff as the sports editor. She has run for the Xavier cross country team for four years now and been involved with the XPress for two years. She is a student ambassador and a member of NHS. She is the vice president of the National English Honor Society, and enjoys writing and literature. She has been publishing her self-made blog Monkey Business since 2023. She is very excited about XPress this year and looks forward to writing and editing sports articles to celebrate the accomplishments of her fellow Gators! Ellie is a Best of SNO award-winning writer and the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association (AIPA) awarded her an "Excellent" mark in news writing and in sports writing for 2024.
