Vivian Amoia

Vivian Amoia, Managing Editor

Vivian Amoia is a senior at Xavier College Preparatory. She is involved in several activities at Xavier including varsity track, vice president of Political Action Committee Xavier (PACX), Student Ambassadors, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and Quill & Scroll National Honor Society. Outside of Xavier, she is on the Phoenix Track Club and a student ambassador for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or LLS. She is also in the National Charity League and a co-founder of Females Empowering Menstruation. In her free time, she likes to spend time with family and friends, go to hot yoga, and volunteer. Vivian loves journalism because it allows her to write about inspiring or important events that open the minds of her peers, all while learning everyone’s unique and individual stories. Vivian is a Best of SNO award-winning writer and winner of the Private School Journalism Association’s Sports Writer of the Year. The Arizona Interscholastic Press Association (AIPA) awarded her an “Excellent” mark for sports writing in 2023 and in 2024, as well as an “Excellent” mark for in-depth reporting for 2024.
